"I'll take good care of him," Chrissy teases, though she's pretty sure that if either of them is going to be getting scared, it'll be her. She's all right with that, though. They're clearly safe here, and she's with Eddie, and she's pretty sure she's dealt with far worse than some jump scares in an escape room. This is just fun, a safe way of being scared, a pretty great way to spend her birthday.

Although they've been together for a while now, almost three months, it still feels a little surreal that he wants this, that he'd go out of his way to put together something like this for her. Eddie being kind and thoughtful, that part doesn't surprise her at all anymore. Being on the receiving end of it like this, though, does.

Pressing up to her toes for a moment, she turns her head to plant a quick kiss on Eddie's cheek. "Well, I think I'm ready if you are."
