"That would be neat," Chrissy agrees with a nod. She doesn't really know Steve's girlfriend, but she seems kind of insanely cool, and what's more, it's clear how happy she makes Steve. The two of them have laughed about it some, how they've both wound up with people who would have been the opposite of what anyone expected for them back in Hawkins, and are both better off than they ever were there, too.

"But tonight, it's just us." Satisfied with the flowers, she steps back toward Eddie and leans up to give him another quick kiss. There's a lot that she could say, how no one has ever done for her the kind of things that he has and how much that means, but it feels far too serious. She suspects it would ruin the mood, and she really doesn't want that. "I'm ready if you are."
